What do you suggest I wear?
Whatever you like with up to six changes!
We recommend wearing outfits that fit well, avoiding items that dig in and are un-likely to produce a flattering image.
Stockings are fun, fully body costumes playful, high heels add impact to an image and bold accessories will enhance your photos.
We will run through ideas with you during your initial consultation.
What about hair and make-up?
We can arrange for this to be done on site or teach you photo shoot-friendly techniques to apply yourself. In general make-up needs to be slightly heavier than usual and we usually advise emphasising either lips or eyes.
How much will I be expected to reveal?
Our aim is usually to “suggest” rather than reveal but we happy to take a different approach should clients want something different If you would like to go topless, we will ask you to have your chest covered in some way, e.g. with your hands or a feather boa. We do not shoot full nude unless it is specifically requested.
How should I pose?
We will start by taking basic photos, often of your face, and legs, to give you time to gain confidence in front of the camera . After this, we take the lead from you - these are your photos! We will discuss different poses during your consultation to get a feel for the kind of look you are after. However, you are free to change your mind during the shoot for any reason whatsoever.
Am I able to bring moral support?
Yes, of course. We want you to feel comfortable and confident so please bring anyone who’ll help you do that. For reasons of space we can only accommodate a maximum of two guests into the shoot with you., So whether it’s a friend, family member or partner, they are very welcome.

Can you hide certain body parts and re-touch images?
As professional photographers we know how to create great shots that show you at your very best, discretely avoiding any areas of your body you’d like to hide. After the shoot, you’ll be able to choose your favourite photos from a large selection.
Can I have a female photographer?
Unless otherwise specified John will be carrying out the photo shoot whilst Jo looks after their two little boys. Should you prefer a female photographer, please ask for Jo who may be able to conduct the shoot subject to availability.
Who sees my photographs?
If you choose a package where the photographs are on disc - you, us and anyone else you’d like! When photo books are created by one of our trusted, professional suppliers, they are sent in our name and do not identify you in any way. We will never use your photos in any other way, without your consent.
Do you offer boudoir photo shoots for couples?
Yes we do. We also offer non-boudoir shoots, location portraits and other lifestyle photography packages. Please visit our sister website and contact us if you’re interested in one of our special discounts for combined packages.
